Brave’s TMH2015 is the first in a series of three-point tractor mount log splitters. The TMH2015 is horizontally operated and is designed to split in both directions. The splitter features an 8-inch carbon steel wedge and a 4-inch x 24-inch clevis cylinder. It uses a tractor’s hydraulics to operate the cylinder. Bed height is variable and dependent on the tractor. Other features include a standard table grate and easy-to-operate controls. Brave recommends the TMH2015 for logs up to 24 inches long and for operators looking to split two to 100 cords per season.

Subaru has upgraded its line of commercial-grade SGX generators with a larger fuel tank, no-flat tires and larger mufflers. The generators also sport a new blue and silver look to coordinate with the company’s automotive division. The SGX3500 delivers a maximum output of 3,500 watts, and features Subaru’s EX21 7-horsepower engine and a 4-gallon fuel tank for a total run time of 8 hours at the rated load. A 9.5-horsepower EX30 engine powers the SGX5000, which offers a maximum output of 4,900 watts. Subaru upgraded the SGX5000’s fuel tank capacity to 8 gallons for a total continuous run time of 10.7 hours at the rated load.
The Toro Company has updated the STX-38 stump grinder, including an all-new, electronic fuel injection engine, eliminating the carburetor and a significant amount of maintenance. The stump grinder no longer has a choke, designed to facilitate start-up in any weather. Fully hydraulic operation is designed to keep belts from breaking or slipping without the need to adjust tension. The unit features ground speeds up to 4.5 miles per hour and a weight of 1,750-pounds.
The RS7200E spreader/sprayer features an electric start, adjustable electric spray pump and a hand-held spray wand. It is driven by a 7-horsepower Subaru EX210 engine with electric start and includes a 0.95-gallon fuel tank. The RS7200E’s heavy-duty transmission has two forward gears, neutral and reverse, and employs hand-operated transmission disc brake and foot-controlled sulky band brake. The 17-gallon single port tank system applies liquid using a front-mounted boomless nozzle, which can spray between 3 and 11 feet wide, as well as a professional-duty spray wand.
The SC40TX stump cutter features a stand-on platform to drive the machine, design to allow operators to maneuver from stump to stump faster. A counter-rotating track undercarriage enhances maneuverability by making it easier to reposition when cutting a stump. The SC40TX has a hydraulic ground drive and cutter wheel, meaning there are no belts or chains to service. It features two dedicated operator positions: the traditional location on the side of the machine or the platform on the back of the machine. The unit is powered by a 40-horsepower Kohler diesel engine.
