Allied Model 70D AR Series hydraulic hammers are designed for the rental industry and contractors breaking rock and demolishing concrete. The Model 70D (SSU) is a 748-pound hammer that mounts quickly on a skid-steer loader. It adapts easily to a mini-excavator or loader/backhoe with new mounting bracket configurations and two-position brackets for increased productivity. The Model 70D requires 10 to 24 gpm at 1,600 to 1,890 psi and it breaks at a rate of 500 to 1,200 blows per minute.
The EC breaker attachments – the EC 40 T, EC 50 T, EC 60 T, EC 70 T and EC 80 T – feature Atlas Copco’s box-style mounting systems, which eliminate the need for removing external fasteners to access components, such as wear bushings and seals, for maintenance. Operators can use the breakers in noise- and vibration-restricted worksites because of Atlas Copco’s exclusive VibroSilenced Plus systems. These systems isolate percussion mechanisms from breaker boxes with polyurethane damping and seal all attachment openings to minimize noise and vibrations. The breakers have service weights as low as 209 pounds and generate impact rates as high as 1,600 bpm to deliver effective impact energy to the breaking surface.
Powered by a 25-horsepower electric motor, the new Brokk 160 is 12 percent more powerful than the Brokk 180 and offers the capacity and stability to carry all the same attachments. The unit features a reach of 15.8-feet with the included SB202 breaker. With a height of just 4.1-feet and width of 2.6-feet, the Brokk 160 is compact and low-profile enough to work in tight areas, while the emissions-free motor allows usage in confined spaces. A remote control enables the operator to remain a safe distance away from hazards such as falling debris.
The Hilti TE 1000-AVR Breaker features HiDrive technology which helps deliver 19 foot-pounds of impact energy. It includes a detachable supply cord and a three-chamber sealing principle. The SR motor is designed to ensure stable performance with power fluctuations from generators or extension cords and also features a power reduction switch for up to 30% less impact for precision work. The breaker can be paired with a wave chisel TE-SP that produces up to a 30 percent increase in speed during concrete demolition by reducing friction between the chisel body and base material, leaving a wider opening for fast debris removal, increasing breaking power while reducing the likelihood of sticking or breaking.
The Montabert V4500 heavy-range hydraulic breaker features an automatic two-speed variation system, adjusting its impact energy and striking rate to deliver high energy per blow on hard ground and high frequency on soft ground. Designed for use on excavators weighing between 99,200 and 176,400 pounds, the fully hydraulic breaker model delivers between 520 and 710 blows per minute. The 9,921-pound V4500 requires a hydraulic flow rate of between 74 and 100-1/2 gallons per minute and is rated within the 13,000 foot-pound impact energy class.
