Mobile Mini Posts Third-Quarter Increase

Nov. 8, 2013

Mobile Mini, the world’s leading supplier of portable storage solutions, posted total revenues of $105.5 million for the third quarter compared with $99 million for the third quarter last year, a 6.6-percent hike. Leasing revenues were $95.8 million, compared to $88.8 million a year ago, an 8.8-percent jump.

“We put more units on rent, while at the same time continuing to increase rental rates,” said president and CEO Erik Olsson. “Our yield for the period reached an all-time high, reflecting great execution and a strengthening demand environment in both our construction and non-construction markets. We have continued to reposition idle units to high demand areas and expect to continue to do so over the next several quarters to optimize utilization and minimize capex.”

Mobile Mini is based in Tempe, Ariz.
