Aug. 31, 2011
The Haulotte Group posted a 30-percent revenue hike in the first half of 2011, rising from €114.4 million in 2010 to €148.0 million (about U.S. $212.6 million) this year.

The Haulotte Group posted a 30-percent revenue hike in the first half of 2011, rising from €114.4 million in 2010 to €148.0 million (about U.S. $212.6 million) this year.

The global market of powered access platforms was pulled up by the U.S. market. Equipment sales jumped 33 percent from €84.5 million to €112.4 million, with more significant growth in the Asia Pacific area and a “buoyant” market share in Europe, the company said. Equipment rental grew 18 percent year over year from €17 million in the first half of 2010 to €20 million this year. The services business grew in all geographic areas, particularly on spare parts sales that jumped 33 percent in the first half.

Paris-based Haulotte said it expects to maintain its strong growth rate in the second half of 2011, unless uncertainties in the financial markets and global growth don’t postpone investment decisions until 2012.
