Ground Hog
The T-4 chain-type trencher from Ground Hog is designed for jobs requiring up to a 12-inch deep by 3-inch wide trench. The T-4 offers a choice of carbide-tipped shark teeth or carbide-tipped bullet teeth. Conversions for depths up to 12 inches by 4 inches wide or 18 inches deep by 3 inches wide are available. The user-friendly, compact design fits through narrow gates and doorways and trenches near walls and fences. The T-4's heavy gauge steel construction, durable powder-coated finish, tapered roller bearings and double-row ball bearings ensure less maintenance.

The trencher features durable steel shielding, a cost-efficient reversible boom, and an operator presence system. Caterpillar
The T6B trencher from Caterpillar has a 36-inch boom and is designed to work with standard flow hydraulics. The direct drive motor provides a balance of chain speed, torque and chain pull for maximum productivity in a variety of soil types. Cutting widths offered by the adjustable boom are 6, 8, 10 and 12 inches. The T6B offers optional manual or hydraulic side shift for close trenching near structures. Maximum side shift is 22 inches to the right of center. A large, adjustable auger handles spoil removal, and an optional, bolt-on crumber bar guides loose spoil away from the trench. Two optional skid shoes can aid in cleaning the trench.

The LT112 Bobcat trencher attachment is designed for trenching projects between 2- and 3-feet deep. The model is approved for the Bobcat MT52 and MT55 mini track loaders and the 463 skid-steer loader, which are designed for accessing backyards and hard-to-reach areas. With a 24-inch dig depth, the LT112 trencher is a suitable model for light to medium trenching projects. A manual side-shift comes standard with the trencher.
