Coble Trench Safety, a Greensboro, N.C.-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench safety equipment and traffic safety equipment, recently opened a branch in Charleston, S.C., which will service the Charleston, S.C., and northern Georgia areas.
“The Charleston branch is our fourth expansion outside the state of North Carolina, and will be the seventh fully staffed operation of Coble Trench Safety in the United States,” said Tom Coble, CTS president.
The new branch is managed by Teddy Phillips, who has more than 10 years of direct experience in the trench and traffic safety industries.
Coble said the company plans to open one or two more branches in 2008 with more to follow. The company, which also offers OSHA-compliant training classes, began operations in 2002 and also has branches in Charlotte, Charleston and Raleigh N.C.; Richmond and Manassas, Va. (serving the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., metropolitan areas); and Myrtle Beach, S.C.
