United Rentals Supports Local Habitat for Humanity Affiliate

The Lebanon, Pa., United Rentals branch made a substantial donation of equipment and contractor supplies to Habitat for Humanity of Lebanon County, according to Pam Tricamo, the chapter's executive director. The company donated construction equipment, including a Multiquip portable generator, a JLG variable reach forklift, as well as professional contractor supplies to the Habitat chapter, which is one of 130 affiliates nationwide participating in the National Builders Association's "National Builders Blitz."

In addition, United Rentals employees will volunteer at the Blitz build along with professional contractors this week. The Lebanon house will be one of 400 homes constructed nationally during the event.
Habitat for Humanity’s Home Builders Blitz 2006 is a nationwide effort that joins Habitat for Humanity affiliates and 1,000 professional homebuilders to provide houses for more than 1,000 people nationwide during the week of June 5-9.

Greenwich, Conn.-based United Rentals is No. 1 on the RER 100.
