Spider Fills Leadership Roles

Seattle-based Spider, a division of SafeWorks LLC, recently filled several key roles on its leadership team. Ron Ellis joined Spider as area director for the Great Lakes region, a newly created position. Based in Cleveland, Ellis is responsible for branch operations and sales for the Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit and Philadelphia operation centers.

Stan Lubinski, a 25-year Spider veteran, was promoted to director of field operations. Lubinski is now responsible for driving improvements in field operations, developing standard work procedures and reporting mechanisms to improve customer satisfaction, and maintaining the lead position on fleet logistics and branch inventory.

John Sotiroff recently assumed the expanded role of vice president, Spider. In addition to overseeing operations and sales for the 24 nationwide Spider operation centers, Sotiroff will focus on execution issues and long-term moves to grow the Spider brand.

The company’s SafeWorks division recently welcomed Mike Moritz as director of supply chain. In this role, Moritz will be responsible for all supply chain operations in the Seattle production facility, total company inventory targets, and the development of a global SafeWorks supply chain encompassing the North America operation centers as well as the Belgium operation.

Mike joins the SafeWorks team from Microscan Systems where he was the director of materials. Under his leadership, the company successfully lowered costs and improved quality by establishing a global supply chain in the intensely competitive electronics industry.
