Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. will celebrate the grand opening of its Bakersfield, Calif., general rental facility on Friday, Oct. 13. The event will take place at the store between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and will showcase the facility’s new 1,500-square-foot showroom and product line, which includes small tools, equipment and contractors’ supplies. The new HERC facility is housed on an 11-acre lot.
As part of Hertz’ commitment to expand services available for small to medium-sized contractors and homeowners, HERC Bakersfield offers a broad range of products, including lawn mowers, floor sanders and buffers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. HERC Bakersfield also offers a wide assortment of construction equipment from manufacturers including Ingersoll Rand, JLG, John Deere, Wacker and Stihl, with a focus on equipment for the port, foundry, cold storage and warehousing industries. Specialty oil field equipment includes A-frame trucks and cranes. Equipment is available to rent or buy.
At the grand opening, vendor demonstrations and literature will be available, a free lunch will be catered, and giveaways will be provided on site while supplies last. HERC management will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony.
