GE Energy Rentals supplied 226 diesel generators, providing more than 20 megawatts of power for the Glastonbury Music Festival in Somerset Country, southwestern England. The event starred Paul McCartney, James Brown, Oasis and other musical performers on 25 venues. More than 120,000 people attended the festival, which also featured theater, circus and poetry performances.
