CRA Celebrates 60 Years

The California Rental Association celebrated 60 years of serving the rental industry at a three-day event last week in Indian Wells, Calif., near the resort city of Palm Springs. The event included an anniversary dinner paying tribute to retiring executive director Chuck Maltese after 18 years of service. The dinner included a number of speakers reminiscing about CRA’s history.

Other events included a memorabilia display of old rental ads, logos, photos, price lists and old rental equipment. Executive discussion groups met to discuss problems and issues in current rental company management. Golf outings, tours of the Palm Springs area and a tram ride to the top of Mt. San Jacinto were also held.
