AmQuip Crane, based in Bensalem, Pa., in the Philadelphia area and Elliott Crane Rental, Nashville, Tenn., have formed the Elliott/AmQuip Crane rental team in the Tennessee Valley. The partnership between the two companies will allow it to offer the most complete line of cranes and product support in the region.

The partnership will create the ninth-largest crane rental company in the world, based on annual rankings compiled by International Cranes magazine.

Elliott Crane Rental has one of the most complete inventories of hydraulic and conventional cranes in the region. By joining forces with AmQuip, Elliott/AmQuip now has a complete line of hammerhead and luffing tower cranes, rough terrains, large crawler cranes, hydraulic truck cranes and all-terrain cranes up to 550 ton.

“After expanding into the tower crane market and opening offices in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Birmingham, Ala., we have been looking for the perfect match to tie in the two regions,” said AmQuip owner Joseph Wesley.

“AmQuip and Elliott are both family-owned businesses that put the employees first,” added Elliott Crane owner Bud Elliott.

Clark Elliott will lead the partnership as regional vice president. “This partnership will allow Elliott/AmQuip to help shape the skylines in the Ohio and Tennessee valley for years to come,” he said.
