Terex Names Global General Manager of Telehandlers

Terex Aerial Work Platforms, a business segment of the Terex Corp., last week named David Gillrie global general manager for the telehandler product line. He will report to Linda Mayer, vice president/general manager global marketing and product management.

In his new role, Gillrie will lead the telehandler product line by assessing customer and market needs around the world; identify new product ideas and sales channels; set production levels to meet demand; establish pricing; and develop marketing programs and sales tools for sales teams.

“David’s prior experience in the strategy and business development arenas will provide a solid base from which to make a significant impact on our telehandler line,” said Mayer. “David comes to us with an extensive background in equipment manufacturing. His leadership qualities and depth of knowledge in the industry make him a significant asset to our organization.”

Prior to joining Terex AWP, Gillrie spent eight years at Ingersoll-Rand in various roles. Most recently, he served as the vice president, strategy and business development.
