Takeuchi Creates New Role of Technical Trainer and Content Developer

Compact equipment manufacturer Takeuchi U.S. has named Jim Ramsdail technical trainer and content developer, effective immediately.

Compact equipment manufacturer Takeuchi U.S. has named Jim Ramsdail technical trainer and content developer, effective immediately. Based at Takeuchi-US’ headquarters in Pendergrass, Ga., Ramsdail’s primary role will be to help conduct the instructor-led technical training to Takeuchi subsidiaries and distributors around the world.

An additional responsibility for the newly created role is assisting in new content development as Takeuchi expands delivery training and knowledge to better serve its distribution network.

Ramsdail has more than 20 years of experience in the agricultural, construction and industrial equipment industry.

“Jim’s industry experience is focused around parts, service, warranty and training,” said David Steger, global training manager for Takeuchi. “We are excited to leverage his capability during the implementation of new systems here at Takeuchi over the coming months and year, which we will add value to our end users and distribution network alike.”

Most recently, Ramsdail served as a supplier recovery supervisor for Agco Corp. in Duluth, Ga., where he has been since 205. In his role, he initiated team training programs and strengthened partnerships with suppliers. Ramsdail has a technical studies degree in computer science and engineering from Wright State University. He was also a 2nd class petty officer in the United States Navy – advanced electronics.
