A JCB loader stolen from a construction site in northwest England was tracked and recovered more than 1,000 miles away in the Middle East, according to Internet reports. A-Plant, owned by Sunbelt Rentals parent company Ashtead, used its GPS tracking system to find that the machine left the country from Southampton docks and was later unloaded in Oman.

The tracking system followed the machine to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. With the help of Interpol, the unit was recovered, 11 days after being stolen from its jobsite.
