Volvo Construction Equipment won the Red Dot award in the vehicles category for its L220G wheel loader. The machine was judged by a panel of design experts who marked the product on innovation, quality, durability and ecological compatibility. The L220G, part of Volvo’s new G-Series wheel loader range, was honored for its fuel efficient and productive design.
“This is a real symbol of our hard work and creativity at Volvo,” said design director Stina Nilimaa Wickström. “It is so satisfying to see the L220G wheel loader progress from paper to machine and now to an international design award!”
