Vermeer Augments Executive Team

To strengthen its presence in the global, underground and environmental markets, Pella, Iowa-based Vermeer has expanded its executive management team to include three new members. Steve Heap will lead the global initiative as senior director of international sales and operations; Mike Byram was named senior director of environmental solutions; and Dave Wisniewski has been named senior director of underground installations and global accounts.

Steve Heap will lead the global initiative as senior director of international sales and operations; Mike Byram was named senior director of environmental solutions; and Dave Wisniewski has been named senior director of underground installations and global accounts.

Heap began his career with Vermeer in 1996 as South American sales representative and has since worked as southwest U.S. regional manager, global accounts manager, and most recently managing director of Vermeer International BV in The Netherlands. In his new role, Heap will be responsible for Vermeer activities in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

Byrum joined Vermeer in 1994 and has worked in engineering, including new product development manager, environmental engineering manager and most recently senior director of environmental solutions.

Wisniewski joined Vermeer in 1997, and has worked as regional manager, global account manager and sales manager. His new position includes responsibility for sales, engineering and service support for the rubber tire, compact and trenchless product groups.
