UpRight celebrated its return to the United States equipment market by giving away a Ford Shelby Cobra GT500 Mustang at the recent Rental Show in Atlanta.
The drawing for the prize was held at a cocktail party UpRight gave at Atlanta’s Omni Hotel. The winner was Max Christopher, owner of Christopher Equipment, Shelbyville, Tenn. The general rental company has branches in Tullahoma and Manchester, Tenn.
UpRight also raffled off eight mini-Shelby Cobras, two PlayStation3 consoles, a Nintendo Wii console and an Apple I-pod.
More significant was UpRight, now owned by the Tanfield Group Plc, re-emerging as a competitive force in the United States aerial market, with its products well received at the ARA show.
