Terex Names Tom Riordan as President and Chief Operating Officer

Westport, Conn.-based Terex Corp. last week announced that Tom Riordan will join the company in the newly created position of president and chief operating officer effective Jan. 1, 2007.

Westport, Conn.-based Terex Corp. last week announced that Tom Riordan will join the company in the newly created position of president and chief operating officer effective Jan. 1, 2007. Riordan will be based in Westport, Conn., and will report directly to Ron DeFeo, who will continue to serve as the company’s chairman and CEO.

Riordan began his career at Borg-Warner Automotive, where he held various manufacturing positions. After leaving Borg-Warner, Riordan held positions with J.I. Case, Consolidated Sawmill Machinery International, and SPX Corp.
