SafeWorks Promotes Purtle to New Training Manager Position

SafeWorks llc recently promoted John Purtle to the newly created position of training manager. This role is primarily responsible for the development and progressive skill improvement of SafeWorks’ employees as well as for executing learning and technical training programs for its customer base.

SafeWorks llc recently promoted John Purtle to the newly created position of training manager. This role is primarily responsible for the development and progressive skill improvement of SafeWorks’ employees as well as for executing learning and technical training programs for its customer base.

SafeWorks provides competent person training, technician training and offers training for specialty applications.

“John brings 16 years of industry experience and extensive credentials to this role,” said Joe Salter, director of human resources. “Hundreds of capable technicians maintaining SafeWorks’ equipment nationwide consistently rank John’s instruction as first-rate. We are excited to bring his knowledge and energy to benefit the development of current and future customers and employees.”

Prior to joining the SafeWorks team, Purtle managed the suspended access fleet for Ivy Hi Lift in Las Vegas during the first boom cycle in the early 1990s. He began working for SafeWorks in 1996 as product support manager in the Power Climber division. In 2005, Purtle advanced to customer service manager where he managed SafeWorks’ operations and service centers in addition to supervising the product support function.
