Warwick, N.Y.-based Nascent Design last week announced it will private label and contract manufacture a complete line of machines under the Power Shifter brand beginning with those in highest demand for the rental industry.
The Power Shifter rapid-change engine mounting system allows one engine to be quickly swapped between multiple machines in only 17 seconds and without any tools. "This approach allows us to offer our customers each of our manufacturers' best products, all compatible, so it's really a win-win situation for everybody," said Mark Behrens, president of NDI.
