MK Diamond Products Acquires Sawtec Brand

MK Diamond Products last week announced that it has acquired the Sawtec brand from Blastrac NA. The Sawtec brand provides contractors with a range of dust-free tools and grinding accessories for surface preparation and concrete repair. Sawtec will be marketed as a sub-brand of MK Diamond.

MK Diamond Products last week announced that it has acquired the Sawtec brand from Blastrac NA. The Sawtec brand provides contractors with a range of dust-free tools and grinding accessories for surface preparation and concrete repair. Sawtec will be marketed as a sub-brand of MK Diamond.

This acquisition provides MK Diamond with a new line of products and marketing opportunities.”

“MK Diamond and Blastrac’s management have been in discussions for quite some time on this acquisition,” said Stephen Klugherz, global vice president. “The acquisition of Sawtec by MK Diamond will allow Blastrac to focus on its core resurfacing products and customers needs.”

The Sawtec product line includes surface preparation equipment, dust-free tools for cutting and widening joints, grinding accessories and shrouds. These products are designed for contractors, public works departments, rental companies and other cutting/demolition professionals.
