Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based Lakeview Technology last week announced a partnership with Wynne Systems, a leading developer of software for the rental industry to provide additional protection for client data.

MIMIX information availability solutions provide easy, flexible, scalable, proven protection for real-time, zero data loss and uninterrupted business on the IBM System i5 platform. The solutions enable Wynne Systems users to safeguard important applications and databases on their backup System i5 servers in the event of unplanned circumstances, such as power failures, as well as eliminate costly planned downtime, such as server maintenance or system upgrades.

“Lakeview’s commitment to information availability and their 15 years of trusted experience made partnering with them an easy decision,” said Mike Stilwagner, vice president, Wynne Systems. “This new integration will enhance Wynne’s ability to protect client data and recover from unexpected outages.”

According to Steve DiLiberto, Lakeview’s vice president of business development and strategic alliances, joining forces with Wynne Systems will provide intangible benefits for the companies’ mutual customers.

“RentalMan is a well-known software application within the construction equipment business, and users rely heavily on it. Having the peace of mind knowing data and information is always accessible is immeasurable,” DiLiberto said.

Irvine, Calif.-based Wynne Systems is the developer of RentalMan software, which provides a complete and customizable market application suite designed to yield maximum business efficiency at any scale. Utilizing the IBM System i5 architecture, RentalMan is offered as a complete enterprise resource-planning package that can accommodate multiple users and locations worldwide, via the stand-alone or application service provider models. The software is particularly popular with larger rental companies.
