Manitowoc Crane Group hired Ted Thomas as director of customer service for Manitowoc cranes for the Americas region. Thomas will report to Scott Alexander, vice president of Manitowoc Crane. Thomas will be responsible for directing customer support activities for the Manitowoc lattice-boom product line.
The company is based in Manitowoc, Wis.

Before joining MCG, Thomas held a variety of senior positions at Metso Minterals, including that of vice president of the company’s aftermarket operations across North and Central America.
