BATON ROUGE, La. — H&E Equipment Services last month announced that most key managers and employees at Eagle High Reach, the La Mirada, Calif.-based company it acquired in February, will continue in their positions under H&E. Perry Dau, formerly branch manager at H&E's Las Vegas locations, was named vice president, West Coast division, and will assume responsibility for Eagle's four California locations — La Mirada, Santa Fe Springs, San Diego and Bakersfield.

Although the former Eagle stores are H&E's first California branches, H&E has sold and rented equipment in California for decades, and H&E and Eagle have been supply partners on a number of construction projects over the years. In anticipation of the acquisition, H&E ordered more than $25 million in new rental inventory for the California facilities.

While Eagle High Reach primarily focused on aerial lift rentals, H&E plans to expand the products and services offered in California, following the national H&E business model. H&E is a major player in industrial and reach forklifts, earthmoving equipment and cranes; offers mobile services and training; is the largest Grove and Manitowoc crane dealer in the United States; and one of the largest Komatsu earthmoving dealerships. H&E also represents JLG, Genie, Terex, Skyjack, Manitou, Power Climber, National, Yale, Gehl, Ingersoll Rand and other manufacturers.

Based in Baton Rouge, La., H&E Equipment Services is No. 11 on the RER 100 and has 47 branches throughout the Gulf Coast, Intermountain West, Southwest and Northwest.
