Generac Power Systems, Waukesha, Wis., a manufacturer of standby and portable power generation equipment, last week announced that its vice president of finance York Ragen has been promoted to chief financial officer.

Generac Power Systems, Waukesha, Wis., a manufacturer of standby and portable power generation equipment, last week announced that its vice president of finance York Ragen has been promoted to chief financial officer.

“York has tremendous knowledge of our products and markets and continues to be a key contributor to the success of Generac,” said Aaron Jagdfeld, Generac CEO. “As a member of our executive team, he will play a key role in executing our strategic vision for the company.”

Ragen began his career with Generac in 2005 as its director of finance and became vice president of finance in December 2007.

Generac Power Systems is a manufacturer and marketer of portable and standby generators, automatic transfer switches, modular paralleling systems, and small engines for residential, commercial and RV applications. Generac’s power systems range in output from 2 to 9,000 kilowatts.
