IVECO, a truck manufacturer owned by Fiat, has reached a partnership agreement with the PM Group of San Cesario sui Panaro to install its cranes on 42 trucks from the Fiat Group to be exported to Ethiopia. The contact is worth EUR 1.4 million (U.S. $1.9 million). The partnership is a continuation of 20 years of working together to supply vehicles and equipment for Italy, the Middle East and Africa.

The supply of 42 IVECO vehicles – 21 road tractors and 21 tractor-trailers – equipped with rear-mounted cranes is an important order for a smaller company such as the Ethiopian Electrical Corp., which depended on government help to acquire the machines.
