Esco Corp. Acquires Brazier Mine Construction

Esco Corp. has acquired Brazier Mine Construction in a strategic asset purchase that increases ESCO’s on- and near-site service offering in the Powder River Basin near Gillette, Wyo.

Esco Corp. has acquired Brazier Mine Construction in a strategic asset purchase that increases ESCO’s on- and near-site service offering in the Powder River Basin near Gillette, Wyo. The acquisition includes the company’s field service equipment fleet and four fabrication and service locations.

Esco, based in Portland, Ore., is an independent designer, manufacturer and provider of highly engineered wear parts and replacement products used in infrastructure development, mining, oil and gas, and industrial applications. Brazier provides repair, maintenance and rebuild services to large regional mining customers’ dragline, face shovel and mining loader buckets and haul truck bodies.

Brazier’s 60 employees have joined Esco’s Engineered Products Group. Doing business as Esco Wright, the site will build on its current repair and maintenance services with increased Esco product and service offerings.

Esco also has supply and service operations in Gillette, Rock Springs and Caspar, Wyo.
