Case Construction Equipment last week announced its sponsorship of the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association’s Scholarship Foundation. This non-profit organization provides financial support for high school seniors entering higher education and undergraduate students to complete construction-related degrees. Scholarship recipients will be honored at the HACIA Scholarship Foundation Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, May 12 in Chicago.

“We encourage students to pursue studies in the areas of construction, engineering and architecture,” said Ion Warner, Case’s senior director of marketing. “We’re involved in several causes that support the next generation of construction industry professionals. These are the people who will build our roads, bridges, schools, homes and infrastructure. We are proud to be a sponsor of the HACIA Scholarship Foundation, and we applaud their efforts to support Hispanic students.”

HACIA is a 29-year-old business membership organization that promotes the growth and professionalism of its members in the construction industry. In 2003, HACIA established the Scholarship Foundation and has awarded more than $319,000 in scholarships to more than 190 students. Case has been a participating member since 2007.
