Racine, Wis.-based Case Construction Equipment and CNH America employees this week will present a check for $26,000 to Racine Habitat for Humanity. The money was raised by Case and CNH employees who have participated in dozens of Habitat fundraising activities since January.

In addition, more than 200 CNH employees are expected to participate in the building of a Racine Habitat for Humanity home this week. Case employees will raise the walls on the Racine Habit for Humanity home, which will be made available at cost to a Racine family that has contributed at least 300 hours of sweat equity to Racine Habitat for Humanity.

In recognition of the greater contribution Case and CNH make to the community, Racine Mayor Gary Becker will be on hand to thank and congratulate participants — and offer a helping hand at raising the walls.

The event is part of a larger philanthropic and volunteer effort that includes equipment rodeos being held at more than 80 Case dealerships across North America. The aggregate contribution to local Habitat for Humanity affiliates is expected to approach $150,000. Participating Case dealers are contributing at least $1,000 each to their local Habitat for Humanity affiliates and providing access to the community of contractors served by their dealerships.
