Racine, Wis.-based Case Construction Equipment last week announced its sponsorship of the final two NASCAR Nationwide Series races — a Case-sponsored No. 4 Dodge Charger driven by NASCAR rookie Patrick Sheltra, of Sheltra Motorsports.

Joining Case as a sponsor is Briggs Construction Equipment, a Case dealership with 21 locations in the Southeast United States.

“NASCAR has some of the most brand loyal fans in all of sports,” said Ion Warner, senior director of marketing, North America, Case Construction Equipment. “Our sponsorship of Sheltra Motorsports and our visibility will give race fans at the tracks — and the millions watching on television across the country— another reason to get excited about Case construction equipment.”

“We’re honored to represent Case,” said Sheltra. “This is an enormous opportunity for all of us and we certainly plan to make the best of it. Both races are an instrumental part of the Nationwide Series and we hope to find ourselves in the hunt for a good finish, while making our marketing partners proud.”

Sheltra’s family, owners of Sheltra Motorsports, also owns Sheltra & Son Construction Inc. Specializing in road and bridge construction and underground work, Sheltra & Son Construction currently owns two Case excavators, and several Case 621D wheel loaders.

Case Construction Equipment sells and supports a full line of construction equipment around the world, including loader/backhoes, articulated trucks, excavators, motor graders, wheel loaders, vibratory compaction rollers, crawler dozers, skid steers, compact track loaders, telescopic handlers and rough-terrain forklifts.
