Two individuals have received $50,000 contractor’s packages from Bobcat Co. after being randomly selected in the Bobcat Great Road Tour Giveaway.

Brian Beaumont of Beaumont Landscaping in Flanders, N.J., and Roger Coyle of Diamondback Pool Excavation in Chandler, Ariz, are the two winners. Beaumont attended the Bobcat 50 Years Unleashed North American Road Tour event at North Jersey Bobcat in Totowa, N.J., and Coyle attended the event at Bobcat of Phoenix in Phoenix.

The giveaway program was part of the Bobcat 50 Years Unleashed North American Road Tour, a traveling museum that visited 23 Bobcat dealers in the United States and Canada this summer and ended Aug. 9 in Minneapolis. It featured an exhibit on Bobcat history, vintage Bobcat equipment, and Bobcat collectibles and memorabilia from the past half century.

During the tour, 10 attendees were selected randomly at each stop as finalists for The Great Road Tour Giveaway. From the group of 230, Bobcat randomly selected two winners.

Beaumont and Coyle can put their $50,000 contractor’s packages toward Bobcat products from their local Bobcat dealers.

Beaumont Landscaping is a design, build and landscape-maintenance company that offers services including pool installation, retaining wall construction, lawnmowing and snow removal. The contractor uses a Bobcat 335 excavator, two 773 skid-steer loaders and a T300 compact track loader year-round to perform work. Beaumont plans to use his prize to add another piece of equipment to his fleet. “I have used Bobcat equipment for 11 years,” said Beaumont. “We’ve used Bobcat equipment to grow our business, by trading in older machines for newer models or smaller equipment for bigger models.”

Coyle has been using Bobcat equipment since 1991. He has been running Diamondback Pool Excavation since 2003. The recent downturn in the housing market has negatively affected the business, and Coyle says that he plans to use his prize to trade in two excavators and replace them with a Bobcat machine. Coyle has Bobcat S100, S185 and S300 skid-steer loaders that he uses to dig and fill in new pools and demolish old pools.

Bobcat Co., headquartered in West Fargo, N.D., is part of Doosan Infracore International, a U.S.-based subsidiary of Doosan Infracore, a global manufacturer of construction equipment.
