Union officials for Bobcat Co. employees last week announced that the company plans to cut nearly 130 jobs at its Gwinner, N.D. manufacturing plant, and about 25 jobs at its plant in Bismarck, N.D., according to the West Central Tribune.

Parent-company Ingersoll Rand declined to provide further details, but said the job cuts would first come from employees who accepted voluntary buyout packages. Union officials said they expect the cuts to take place by early next month.

The Gwinner and Bismarck manufacturing plants produce light construction machinery for the West Fargo, N.D.-based company.
