AEM’s Conference to Focus on Global Business and Leadership Strategies

With a theme of “Shaken Not Stirred – Finding the Perfect Mix”, the 2007 annual conference of the Associated Equipment Distributors will attempt to help attendees find the perfect mix of markets and strategies to achieve ongoing success despite the cyclical nature of the off-road equipment industry.

With a theme of “Shaken Not Stirred – Finding the Perfect Mix”, the 2007 annual conference of the Associated Equipment Distributors will attempt to help attendees find the perfect mix of markets and strategies to achieve ongoing success despite the cyclical nature of the off-road equipment industry.

The conference will be held Nov. 11-13 at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Fla. The event is the yearly education and networking meeting for presidents, CEOs and other senior managers off off-road equipment manufacturers and industry service providers.

The AEM annual conference will focus on “going global” with an examination of international markets and business options. Keynote speaker is Marcus Buckingham, best-selling author and expert on leadership and management practices. His philosophy is based on teaching companies and individuals to apply their strengths for maximum success.

Featured presenters include Alexsander Kwasniewski, former president of Poland during the 1990s, known for his market reforms that helped Poland gain entry into NATO and the European Union; and Thomas Koulopoulos, president of the Delphi Group. Koulopoulus is a thoughtful leader and author on the social, organizational and economic impact of globalization and innovation.

An international forecast segment will examine the world outlook for construction and agricultural equipment business, with representatives from China, Korea, Japan, Latin America and Europe.
