TVH Increases Recycling to More than 389 Tons of Materials in 2017

TVH, a provider of replacement parts and accessories for the material handling and equipment industries, has increased its sustainable practices and has recycled more than 389 tons of paper, cardboard and other recyclable materials in 2017.

TVH, a provider of replacement parts and accessories for the material handling and equipment industries, has increased its sustainable practices and has recycled more than 389 tons of paper, cardboard and other recyclable materials in 2017. The quantity is an increase of almost 20 tons from the previous year.

With 14 locations in the Americas, TVH believe that even small changes can make an impact on the local community and the surrounding environment. Through its recycling efforts, TVH saved:

  • 6,613 trees
  • 2,723,000 gallons of water
  • 1,556,000 kilowatt hours of electricity
  • 1,283.7 cubic yards of landfill space.

TVH is also collecting other recyclable materials such as shrink-wrap, green strapping material, cardboard and more. It also strives to use eco-friendly or recycled materials whenever possible. TVH has also implemented a lighting program that has reduced its carbon emissions by more than 200 tons. TVH has also expanded its product offering to include a range of eco-friendly products including a large offering of reconditioned parts, available for many makes and models.

TVH offers more than 37 million products from 14 locations in the Americas, with a 15th location coming soon to the northwestern U.S. The company is headquartered in Olathe, Kan.
