The new SmartStick welder from Multiquip is designed with an exclusive feature that automatically shuts off the engine when not in use and restarts it by striking the welding rod. It is equipped with independent controls and up to 200 amps for each operator or 340 amps for one. Additionally, it provides up to 10.5 Kw of 120/240 volt AC power and operates at noise levels of 61.3 dBA. Its arc force control feature allows the operator to fine tune DC current during low voltage welding conditions and helps prevent electrodes from sticking during short arc length welding.
