Qualcomm’s GlobalTracs Lite system is an asset management tool that provides operational and location information with management applications. It offers proactive theft-prevention and recovery features, including a back-up battery to alert if the power is cut. Assisted-GPS technology enables visibility inside buildings and locations without clear view of the sky. The system also features updated engine-hour data that shows when the equipment is running, which helps to identify underutilized equipment that can be redeployed to increase productivity.
