Subaru’s all-season engine is engineered to combine the benefits of overhead cam (OHC) technology from its EX Series engines with special cold-weather features of the SX Snow Series line to create a multi-seasonal solution for a variety of outdoor equipment. The 9-hp unit is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 20 degrees below zero (Fahrenheit) up to 140 degrees without any adjustments.
