Oilfield Services Company Adds Tool Rental

Oilfield services specialist Boots & Coots International Well Control Inc., last week announced it is purchasing equipment and hiring personnel to support its entry into equipment rental related to pressure control services in the oilfield. Boots & Coots plans to focus on the flow-back rental market and other rental offerings that complement B&C’s hydraulic workover, snubbing and well-control services.

Boots & Coots plans to focus on the flow-back rental market and other rental offerings that complement B&C’s hydraulic workover, snubbing and well-control services.

Boots & Coots hired oilfield rental services specialists Mike Clark as vice president of operations, Tom Hendrix as vice president of business development and Glen Hendrix as operations manager for the rental tools division. The company’s primary service center will be in Houston, where the company is based.

The company plans to add rental services to its Decatur, Texas, facility in the fourth quarter.
