Thompson Pump will showcase a new priming system with oil-less vacuum technology at the upcoming ConExpo 2011 trade show in Las Vegas. Configured with the new John Deere IT4 engine, the OVT priming system offers multiple improvements to the traditional vacuum priming system.

The OVT system’s non-contacting rotors are designed to eliminate internal wear, increasing longevity. Because the system is dry-running, not requiring re-circulating oil, it is designed to lower maintenance and operating expenses.

The unit has deeper suction lifts of 28.4 inches, and can maintain high vacuum at lower speeds, the maker said.
