Ditch Witch recently announced that Alfredo Ramirez of Santa Clara, Calif.-based rental company A Tool Shed was the winner of its SK750 compact tool carrier giveaway at The Rental Show in Las Vegas this month. All show attendees who visited the Ditch Witch booth were invited to submit one entry into the drawing.
In addition, the company released its new RT30 ride-on trencher at the show. The 24.8-hp RT30 is a dedicated trencher that features a compact footprint and tight turning radius making it well suited for installing utilities on tight jobsites.
The RT30 is designed for rental companies seeking to offer a product that is more powerful than a walk-behind and more affordable than standard-size ride-on trenchers. The RT30 offers a comfortable operator station, easy-to-use controls and trenching capability of up to 8 inches wide and 42 inches deep.
The RT30’s 42-inch boom provides a 36-inch cover depth, which satisfies most city codes and requirements. The maneuverable, four-wheel-drive RT30 combines a tight turning radius with ground drive speeds of 5.3 mph forward and 2.7 mph in reverse.
