The new Litheon 10.8-volt I-Driver is a cordless ultra-compact drill/driver with a five-position, 90-degree articulating head designed to access the tightest work spaces and accomplish the majority of everyday drill/driving tasks. The I-Driver has 5 detent settings and a total head length of only 3.5 inches. It can drive 100 3-inch screws per charge and is capable of drilling ½-inch diameter holes. Users simply adjust the head with the click of a button to the most comfortable and efficient position to work between studs, behind fixtures, near pipes and next to ductwork. A Clic-change bit holder also makes ¼-inch hex shank bits quick and easy to switch out.

The new Hilti WSR 1400-PE features the Hilti Smart Power system to maintain constant blade speed under load, which significantly reduces cutting time, the company says. A 13.5-amp motor and six speed settings help ensure the right amount of power and the right cutting speed for each job, and the saw’s orbital action allows faster, more aggressive cutting. The WSR 1400-PE is designed for cutting bricks, concrete blocks and asphalt, as well as wood, metal, plastic and plaster. It is also equipped with Hilti’s Active Vibration Reduction system, which significantly reduces vibration and provides the operator with better working comfort, the company says.

The K650 Cut-n-Break from Partner contains two parallel blades for making the cut. The operator then uses the breaking tool to break out the concrete between the cuts. Multiple breaks allow for deeper cuts. The K650 is designed for cutting small openings and creating and finishing square corners. It can cut up to 16 inches deep in concrete, brick or block walls.

Hitachi introduces its new DB3DL 3.6-volt cordless Lithium-ion screwdriver. This pen-type screwdriver is designed for tightening and loosening fasteners in odd or tight spaces. It features a 1.5 Ah Lithium-ion battery for consistent power throughout each cycle and significantly longer overall battery life as compared to Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries. The DB3DL screwdriver weighs less than a pound, pivots 90 degrees and produces 44 inch-pounds of turning torque, and the ¼-inch hex keyless chuck allows for quick and easy bit changes. An integrated LED light can be used to illuminate the workspace for better visibility in dark spaces.
