Komatsu America Corp. has named Phoenix-based Road Machinery Co. as its distributor for five counties in Southern California. Founded in 1957, Road Machinery is the current Komatsu distributor for Arizona, New Mexico, Southwest Texas and Sonora, Mexico.
“Road Machinery has been an integral part of Komatsu’s dealer network for many years,” said KAC president Ken Nakamura.
Road Machinery will take on distribution responsibilities in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties, and will operate a full-service product support center in Southern California to dispatch service and maintenance vehicles, supply parts support and provide complete in-house repairs.
Road Machinery is No. 96 on the RER 100, based on 2001 rental volume of $8 million and total volume of $101 million.
