Buffalo Grove, Ill.-based Essex Crane Rental said in a recent interview withCranes Today it is considering expanding its relationship with Liebherr-Nenzing Crane Co.
In July, Essex entered into an agreement to purchase an undisclosed number of the model HS855SX from Liebherr in an effort to expand and improve its crawler crane rental fleet. In his interview with Cranes Today, Ron Schad, president and CEO of Essex, said that he would not limit the relationship with Liebherr to the HS series of duty-cycle cranes and that he would consider purchasing the Liebherr LR series lift cranes if the relationship was successful.
