Tom Casey, a former branch manager for Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. and United Rentals recently bought his second northern California rental center. After buying American Equipment Rentals and Sales in Yuba City, Calif., from Bob Peterson in September 2001, Casey recently acquired Roseville Rentals in Roseville, Calif. The new branch is managed by Bill Pillon.
Casey has 14 years experience in the rental industry, and Pillon has 11 years experience, working for Gatrell Equipment and United Rentals.
Casey told RER Reports his young 20-employee company is concentrating on the homeowner and light contractor markets and hopes to add heavier items as the business develops. He expects to add a third branch in 2003.
