Entrec Corp. Acquires Taylor Crane Service

Entrec Corp., a company that specializes in lifting and transportation services, has acquired Dickinson, N.D.-based Taylor Crane Service, a small crane company located in the heart of the Bakken oil formation.

Entrec Corp., a company that specializes in lifting and transportation services, has acquired Dickinson, N.D.-based Taylor Crane Service, a small crane company located in the heart of the Bakken oil formation. Taylor has all-terrain, carry deck and hydraulic truck-mounted cranes, as well as trailers and other support equipment.

Entrec Corp., based in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada, paid 1 million common shares of Entrec stock at $1.53 per share, and $4.3 million in U.S. cash.

“The acquisition of Taylor Crane, combined with our current operations in the Bakken, will provide us with the scale we need to better compete and grow our business in this region,” said Entrec president and chief operating officer John Stevens.
