GUELPH, Ont. — Texada Software, a major provider of rental management systems to the equipment rental and dealership industries last month announced the integration of its TSI Enterprise Software with SmartEquip's e-FleetPro technology. Beginning in the second quarter of this year, Texada's clients will be able to add e-FleetPro real-time service, parts and e-commerce functionality to their TSI Enterprise system, a synergy designed to increase fleet utilization and cut service and parts management costs.

Texada, based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, has among its clients such major rental companies as Toronto-based Stephenson's Rental Services and the Volvo Rents franchise network. “By integrating e-FleetPro into our rental management system, we are furthering our commitment to improve the profitability of rental operations,” said Willie Swisher, Texada CEO.

“Our partnership with Texada allows us jointly to provide significant transactional and operational efficiency gains to fleet managers, rental companies and to the manufacturers that serve them,” added Alex Schuessler, CEO and president of SmartEquip.

SmartEquip's e-FleetPro technology provides a conduit for the fleet-customized delivery of manufacturer parts and service documentation, including electronic parts catalogs, operator manuals, troubleshooting guides equipment specifications and safety notices, into the rental and fleet management systems of equipment owners.

Texada also announced it has joined the Oracle PartnerNetwork as an Oracle Partner member.
