Wirtgen, a construction equipment manufacturer in Windhagen, Germany, bought the asphalt products of Chambersburg, Pa.-based Global. Global's asphalt product line includes the company's seven-model Pro Pav series of hot mix asphalt paving equipment.

Green Bay, Wis.-based Schneider Logistics agreed to a deal with CNH Global to provide full-service logistics management, including freight, material handling and port management, for the Racine, Wis.-based equipment manufacturer's 13 North American operations.

National Machine Works purchased Mighty Equipment, a manufacturer of scaffolds, mixers, loaders and other material-handling equipment based in Centerville, Tenn. The acquisition is expected to help generate revenues of more than $14 million over the next 12 months.

Kobelco America changed its named to Kobelco Construction Machinery America to more clearly reflect the company's products and services. The Stafford, Texas-based manufacturer said company business will not affected by the name change.
