Polaris Industries, whose rugged vehicles have led the way for nearly 48 years, is blazing its way in to the outdoor power equipment market. The company, known for its snowmobiles, ATVS, personal watercraft and Victory motorcycles, launches its new Professional Series Workmobiles.

“We're currently establishing a dealer network that includes some of our existing Polaris dealers, as well as dealers of outdoor power,” says Ron Bills, general manager of the commercial division. “It's a distribution channel that's well established but new to us as well as dealers of outdoor power equipment.”

Designed for landscapers, contractors, owners of large estates and others, the Professional Series Workmobiles include the All-Surface Loader, the Utility Task Vehicle, the ATV Pro and the Professional Series generators and pumps.

The All-Surface Loader is compact and runs on rubber tracks that spread the machine's weight over a large surface, protect the ground and enable workers to take a machine into areas where only crews on foot could go. The quick-attach tools, including backhoe, pallet forks, power sod roller, snowblower, trencher, power rake, and power auger, provide the flexibility and versatility of an entire work crew.

The machine has a responsive hydrostatic drive and maximum speed of 6 mph. Additionally, it has protective ROPS/FOPS, lap bar, seat belt and parking brake.
