FARGO, N.D. -- RDO Equipment, whose RDO Rental is ranked No. 73 on the RER 100, has restructured its organization into five new divisions.

The rent-to-rent division, which includes RDO Rental, will continue to be led by Bill Hutton, who sold 80 percent of Sun Valley Equipment Rental to RDO in 1997. Randolph Goss, formerly of American Hi-Lift Corp. and Hertz Equipment Rental, has been appointed executive vice president of the construction equipment division, RDO's largest segment.

The other divisions are agricultural equipment, emerging business and used equipment.

Meanwhile, the company, based here, announced third-quarter revenues of $150.5 million, up 35 percent from the same period last year. "Truck, [equipment] rental and consumer finance activities continue to show strength, but not to the extent that they can offset weaknesses in our Midwestern agricultural operations," said Ronald Offutt, chairman and CEO.
